Basic Periodontal Examination App app for iPhone and iPad

This app has been developed to help dental professionals when
undertaking the Basic Periodontal Examination (BPE). The BPE
was developed by the British Society of Periodontology as a
simple and rapid screening tool for the health of patients’
periodontal tissues and is used to indicate the level of
examination needed for a patient and also to provide basic
guidance on treatment needed.
This app includes:
• Full descriptions of the revised BPE codes
(updated 2011)
• Patient images reflecting each code
• Advice for patient management and treatment for
each code
It has been developed to provide easy, instant access to the
information for the BPE at all times.
